ONE1STATE SOLUTION AND JERUSALEM EMBASSY

Dear President Trump,

We, The Free Muslims Coalition, extend our sincere congratulations on your election as the 45th President of the United States of America. The Free Muslims are dedicated to solving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and challenging extremist Islamist ideology.

With respect to Israel-Palestine, we were delighted to hear you state, "that if I am elected president, I would be neutral on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict." We respectfully ask that you stick with this position. This conflict has caused misery to so many and impacted many nations.

For everlasting peace, we ask that you consider the one1state solution, where Israelis and Palestinians have equal rights in one united country in the form of a federation of two states like New York and New Jersey are part of one country. With a federation, there will be free movement of goods and people, Jerusalem remains undivided, and settlements become a nonissue as the country moves towards desegregation.

In support of our proposal, please consider that the best relations between Palestinians and Israelis are found in cities like Nazareth where Israel granted citizenship to the native Palestinian population. There are no rock throwers and no terrorism in Nazareth. Equality works.

As to moving the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem, this could be done without acrimony if you make clear that the U.S. considers all of Jerusalem the capital of Israelis and Palestinians. Moreover, the U.S. government should secure guarantees from Israel that all Palestinians are to have easy access to Jerusalem. In addition, the U.S. government should insist that Israel treat U.S. citizens of Palestinian background equally to all other U.S. citizens by allowing them entrance into Jerusalem and Israel in general.

In conclusion, we wish you success in reaching lasting peace between Palestinians and Israelis.

Very truly yours,

Kamal Nawash, Esq.
